Personal Statement:
Hi, my name is Cassie Robergeau. I am a communications student at the University of Connecticut with a strong interest in brand development and advertising. I have a strong desire to create engaging content around skin care and beauty while using strategic messaging that can help connect to my target audience. My academic experience has prepared me by developing skills in persuasive writing, visual communication, and audience analysis, which are shown throughout my work that I have purposely chosen for my portfolio. All of the pieces I have chosen showcase my creativity and ability to communicate effectively across all different formats. I believe that each piece highlights a different strength, specifically in regard to brand identity, audience engagement, and persuasive writing.
Together, they all represent my long-term goal of becoming a business owner who specializes in advertising and owns a brand that promotes self-care and confidence. As my audience looks deeper into my work, I am hoping they can notice my growth in my communication and creativity in the content I produce. I’ve obtained a lot of skills so far, and I plan on creating more meaningful content that my audience is able to connect with, reflecting my passion for the skincare industry. Overall, my portfolio shows my commitment to putting in the work that will make my audience members feel seen.
